Demanding for Justice

Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Tan Sri Azam Baki said former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was among the individuals being investigated over the declaration of assets.

2. Notice of declaration of property is under Section 36(1) (a) of the MACC Act.

3. If Dr Mahathir is investigated with regards to declaration of assets  then a notice must be issued and handed over to Tun Dr Mahathir. Has it been done as required by the relevant act?

4. Up to this day, no notice has been issued and Tun Dr Mahathir has not been called by the MACC or any other agency to declare of assets.

5. When serving as the seventh Prime Minister in 2018 Dr Mahathir and his wife has declared a total

of 32.4million.They are in second highest. It can be found at MACC portal.

6. The first place is Ngeh Koo Ham declaring the highest total amount of assets at the value of RM75.8 million. 

7. On 17 May 2023 , malay daily Sinar Harian reported 'According to MACC's asset declaration, Anwar does not claim property.

8. Has a Notice been issued to Anwar in accordance with Section 36(1) (a) of the MACC Act?

9.Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad disputed the MACC actiona of the alleged investigation against him.

10. Tun Dr Mahathir questioned whether the MACC also ordered Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his family to declare their property, as was done to his children.
